The hotel is tucked amongst a beautifully cultivated garden, giving it a quiet and secluded feel. With a mountainous peak overlooking, it truly feels like being in a lush jungle. The rooms, decorated in traditional Thai style, are cozy and comfortable. I particularly loved the private balcony overlooking the lagoon, providing a tranquil and serene view. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was also quite satisfactory.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was more than okay.

the helpful staff. Only problem was walkway very rickety and a bit difficult to negotiate when rainy.

The rooms are surrounded by greenery, the garden is very rich in tropical trees, birds and butterflies. The swimming pool in the center is amazing and has a great view of the cliffs by the seaside.

The views here were stunning, we enjoyed the delicious food, and the rooms were great; also, the location is ideal for first-time visitors to Krabi.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was outstanding. The prices were reasonable and affordable, especially considering the attention to detail and level of service provided. Secondly, the location of the hotel was perfect. Tucked away amongst the greenery, it felt quiet and peaceful, yet it was situated right in the centre of Ao Nang, making it convenient to access the beach and all the amenities nearby. Lastly, the rooms were simply stunning. Designed in traditional Thai style, they had a charming and authentic feel. I especially loved the rooms with the view of lush gardens - it truly felt like paradise. And to top it all off, breakfast was included and offered a variety of delicious options.
Nothing to complain about, everything was alright.

Good location, close to shops, comfortable beds, jungle atmosphere.
Timber walkway to room very slippery when wet, alot of ants in the bathroom and around breakfast food due to wet weather.

It is located one minute from the main street yet no sound reaches the resort from the centre! Lovely garden, absolutely beautifully taken care of, it is like you are in the jungle. The sea is about 6-8 minutes away, and i am happy we chose this hotel for the major part of our stay (stayed also at a hotel at the beach - was much more expensive and much less worth it) as it is very peaceful, quiet, an excellent place to be with nature and to relax. Lovely and very flexible staff, will recommend the resort to all.

Breakfast was not good. Lots of flies and food uncovered.

The location was good you are in the centre of the nightlife. Once you go to your room you do not hear any noise and the pool are is very tranquil and cooling.
There is not tea/coffee facilities in your room. The internet has to be paid for unlike other hotels. The food was not of a good quality and the selection was very limited.

This hotel is not worth at all, and it's a shame. The exterior environment is beatiful, and the room is ok, but when you get to the bathroom !!! horror. The first room they gave was supposed to be an upgrade (I don't wanna see the one we originally were supposed to have), and the bathroom was full of fungus. When we told them, it's like they didn't see a problem with that, but after insisting they changed our room. The second one was better but not ok. I talked with other guest and they told me they had a worst experience with cockroaches on their room. Also, I don't recommend staying in Ao Nang at all. If I did it again I would go directly to Phi Phi Island and then Railay beach. For us, Ao Nang had nothing to offer.
Actually the only thing I liked was the natural surrounding of the hotel. But the personnel and maintenance is terrible. A real shame. Also, I repeat, Ao Nang is not a nice place to stay. The beach is ugly and the town has nothing to offer, except a lot of salesman trying to lure you into their stores with very annoying methods.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Somkiet. A beautifully designed resort set in lush gardens (we could have been on an exclusive island) but just a short walk from the busy action of Ao Nang. Attention to detail was second to none and every extra was provided for our comfort. The whole place just works! I would highly recommend this resort for a luxurious vacation. Breakfast, which was included in the tariff was also great.
